AMG once again provides the Official F1^TM Safety Car and Official F1^TM Medical Car: SL 63 AMG and C 63 AMG Estate to continue to help ensure maximum safety for the 2009 Formula 1 season

The SL 63 AMG, as the Official F1^TM Safety Car, and the C 63 AMG Estate, as the Official F1^TM Medical Car, are to continue to help ensure maximum safety, this time for the 2009 Formula 1 season. AMG, the performance brand of Mercedes-Benz, will be on duty with the two specially prepared high-performance vehicles at all 17 of the new season's Formula 1 races, starting with a first appearance at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne (27 to 29 March 2009). The specialists from the AMG PERFORMANCE STUDIO are responsible for the development, production and servicing of the vehicles.
The Official F1^TM Safety Car is always deployed whenever the safety of a race is threatened by accidents, adverse weather conditions or other hazardous situations. Sitting behind the wheel of the exceptional SL 63 AMG will be Bernd Mayländer (Germany, 37 years of age). After receiving instructions from the race management, the former DTM driver must go to the head of the Formula 1 field and safely guide the world's fastest racing drivers around the circuit. Fast lap times are a must for the Safety Car, because otherwise the Formula 1 engines would overheat - and their tyres and brakes would also cool down excessively.

The self-proclaimed world's largest tuner of VW Group vehicles, ABT Sportsline, has published new photos of its modified Audi Q5. The German firm offers various performance packages for the compact SUV with power and style treatments across the range of trims. On the outside, ABT's bodykit that includes front and rear aprons, rocker panels, new grille, a relatively large roof spoiler plus various alloy wheels (up to 22-inches in diameter) work to create an aggressive look for the German SUV.
For the interior, ABT's tuning program includes a series of accessories ranging from the decorative inserts made of carbon-fiber to a full leather trim.
The more important news is under the hood as ABT's "power-kits' boost the 2.0 TDI diesel's output from 140 to 170HP, the 3.0 TDI diesel's from 240 to 310HP and the 2.0 TSI gasoline engine from 211 to 240HP with a 275HP version following in the next few months. The engine upgrades can be complemented by a sport brake system with 380mm disc and a sport suspension that brings the SUV closer to the ground.

The VW / Audi specialist B&B from Siegen Germany integrated the VW Eos in their established turbo program.
The result is a breathtaking sports cabriolet which reaches in four different power levels (360, 400, 450 and 500 hp) performance values which are normally reserved for top-class sport cars.
Exclusive tires in 18" and 19" as well as a Eos exclusive aerodynamic program in original manufacturer quality finishes the appearance of the unique sport cabriolet.
The highest increment is achieved by the installation of a new developed intercooled turbocharger, a changed cylinder head with a trimmed compression, special suction and airflow pipes, high powered injection elements and a more precise fuel pump. In order to take the engine stable and suitable for daily use, the ledges, gaskets and several expendable parts are transposed by enhanced parts. By using a special slim line oilcooler the oil temperature will be set on a more stable level. To drain off emissions faster and dull sounding a racing exhaust system will be mounted when finally the optimized engine electronics take place to the tuned parts.
The performance values of the 500 hp / 650 Nm version: 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 13.5 seconds, Vmax 308 km/h (depending on translation)
To fulfill the risen requirements a special six or eight bulb high end braking system as well as a threaded chassis, adjustable in height and traction, has to be mounted. This conveys a comfort feeling of security and a confident driving behaviour to the VW Eos driver in every time.

Car tuner from Germany, JMS, has released its new styling package for the 2006 Opel Vectra C facelift.
The JMS Opel Vectra C styling kit features a new Racelook front lip spoiler, new exhaust system, new air filters and reprogrammed ECU.
The JMS Opel Vectra C suspension system has been upgraded with H&R monotube coil over kit that lowers the car by 55 mm at the front and 45 mm at the rear.
The car stands on 19-inch one-piece Racing wheels with 2×15 mm H&R spacers at the rear.

G-POWER Builds the Most Powerful BMW SUV  

The G-POWER TYPHOON has arrived! With its breathtaking wide-stance styling, its 525-hp / 386-kW G-POWER SK III eight-cylinder supercharged engine and a top speed of 275 km/h the SUV based on the BMW X5 (E70) sets new standards in its class. Muscular fender flares and strikingly styled aprons and spoilers front and back, all designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency, dominate the appearance of the G-POWER TYPHOON. The body conversion components and the tools to make them were developed by the G-POWER designers using the latest CAD technologies. The entire base car was scanned in-house using a 3D scanner. The TYPHOON components are manufactured in OEM quality from PUR-R-Rim plastics. The curved G-POWER fender flares on front and rear axle come complete with matching fender liners and add seven centimeters to the width of the X5. They create the space necessary for extra-wide wheels and tires. The largest version features G-POWER Silverstone Forged Edition forged wheels in size 11Jx23 in front and in size 12Jx23 on the rear axle. These wheels were custom-developed for the TYPHOON.  High-performance tires in size 315/25 ZR 23 front and back from development partner Michelin provide optimal traction and sporty handling. 

Progress can not be stopped, especially when it is dashing forward in such a broad and powerful way. The automobile refiner JE DESIGN converts the current Porsche Cayenne (Type 957) into the PROGRESSOR and shows which potential can be release from the serial Porsche.
The PROGRESSOR presents itself significantly broader and more dominant than the standard Cayenne. This impression is already confirmed by a first glance at the front skirt with its LED daylight running lights, the side skirt and the rear skirt extension. At the front, voracious air inlets and fierce headlamp masks confirm that the PROGRESSOR is not only up for games.
Also, the undercoating which protrudes into the front skirt is bicoloured and therefore emphasises the challenging character of the automobile.
The PROGRESSOR does not only pretend to be broader, it really grew. The track width at the front axle extended by enormous 60 millimeters, and even by 80 millimeters at the back axle. This goes hand in hand with extended wings, adapted side skirts with integrated LED door sill lamps and the robust wheels SUV-Select. These cast wheels in one piece measure 10x22 inches and are equipped with high performance tires sized 295/30 R22 XL. JE DESIGN has engineered the wheels with its classic five-spike design especially for king-sized automobiles like the Cayenne. The wheels with the graphite gloss finish perfectly match the white racing color varnish of the PROGRESSOR.

Volvo tuning specialist Heico Sportive has released new details and photos on its performance upgrades for the new XC60. Beginning with the cosmetic enhancements, there's a subtle bodykit made of polyurethane-plastic (PUR) that consists of side skirts, front bumper spoiler and rear skirt that houses the new four pipe exhaust system. Furthermore, customers can choose from a variety of alloy wheels that are available in sizes 18'', 19'' and 20''.
For the interior, Heico provides a full leather treatment. The complete set includes door panel inlays, front and rear seat covers, and gear shift knob and bag. Buyers can choose from nine different colors of leather while further leather types or other surfaces are available upon request.

Berlin based tuning company MEC Design enhance the looks of the Mercedes-Benz CLS with their new bodykit.

MEC Design have been designing tuning products for over 10 year now and are very proud to show off their curvacious new CLS bodykit. The CLS bodykit is hot on the heels of the S-Class bodykit, which was released at the end of 2008.
The bodykit features some of the most curvacious lines available, and the front bumper looks meaner than the devil on a bad day. It is available with daylight driving lights and fog lights or with a mesh inset. The rear bumper is available with the Sports Diffusor look or with a sleek elegant finish. The side skirts are available with or without LED lighting (5 lights per side) which is linked up to the internal lighting. The 3 piece rear spoiler finishes it all off nicely and is just another indication of MEC Designs attention to detail.
The alloy wheels are also designed by MEC Design and are a 3 piece design. The forged centre piece is high gloss compressed and has stainless steel outer rims. The front features 11x20 with 4,5 inch outer rims and 285/25 ZR 20 Hankook tires, whilst the rear has 13x20 with 5 inch outer rims again with 325/25 ZR 20 Hankook tires. The front axel has 10mm spacers and the rear axel 19mm spacers. All the bodywork has been done without the need for painting or lackering
