VW Golf VI GTI by ABT
ABT Sportsline has now been customising vehicles for five decades - and right on time for the Anniversary, the Allgäu Company is presenting the new, sixth GTI. Sporty and fast "Golfs" in particular have carried these three letters since 1976. ABT was the place to go for everyone who wanted even more dynamic and driving fun from the very beginning. The latest generation of the compact sports car also bears the magic abbreviation, and of course it is now available in a breathtaking ABT version. The engine output is impressive, because due to optimized engine management (ABT POWER), the standard 210 HP (154 kW) become a dynamic 260 HP (191 kW). ABT POWER S makes the GTI even hotter: a new turbocharger, „Made in Kempten", is used additionally in this case. The 2.0 TSI then has an output of a sporty 300 HP (221 kW) and accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in around six seconds. Thanks to ABT chassis springs, the GTI's centre of gravity is located a good 30 mm lower, so the Über-Golf can be driven even more sportily. The chassis setting, which was designed by Christian Abt, is especially good fun on winding roads. And in the extreme case, the powerful ABT braking system also kicks in.

Porsche Cayenne Diesel by Cargraphic
With its interpretation of the Cayenne Diesel, Cargraphic proves the emotional sparks can still fly high, even when the engine doesn't use spark plugs. The tuner from the Pfalz takes the finest cars and raises its pulse, and that of the driver. After the "electronic" stimulation provided by Cargraphic' s Cardiologists, the V6 Turbo diesel pumps out 290PS (213kW) instead of 240PS (176kW).
With more power than 100,000 human hearts pulsating under the hood, the Cayenne could theoretically move a weight of 21.75 tons upwards. But the fortunes of a Cargraphic driver lie on the street. "Here it's the torque, even more than the outright power, that is really impressive," explains Cargraphic CEO Thomas Schnarr. 630Nm peak torque (compared to 550Nm in the standard model) means the Cayenne kicks down like an Olympic sprinter firing from the starting blocks.
The increased efficiency of the motor shows is clear from the constant grin of the driver, as well as on the speedo. The needle only stops at 221km/h, but with the electronic suspension module it could even be a touch faster, thanks to improved aerodynamics and reduced drag. To back up the performance, the optional Cargraphic body kit gives the Cayenne an even more muscular look, without losing the elegant tone. The Sport Design front lower valance is available with two fog and high beam lights and brake cooling channels. Then there's the rear diffuser, wheel arch extensions and side skirts, all produced in high-quality GFK, that complement the German-built light alloy wheels ranging from 20 to 22" in size. That's how easy it is to pour more power into a diesel engine and fuel the flames of automotive passion.

BMW M3 E46 by G-Power
This time, BMW 'super tuner' G-Power has turned its attention on two previous generation 'M' sports cars, the M3 E46 and the Z4M with the presentation of a somewhat tamer performance package than what we're used to from the German company. At the heart of the tuning program is a new large ASA TM I 20 centrifugal supercharger that boosts the M3 and Z4M 3.2-liter straight-six engine's output from 343HP and 365Nm to 450HP and 450Nm or 331.9 lb-ft of torque.
The 107 horsepower boost helps improve acceleration from standstill to 200km/h or 124mph from the standard M3 E46 Coupe's 18,1 seconds to 14,7 seconds, making it even faster than the current 420HP-strong M3 V8 that needs 15.8 seconds for the same sprint.
To improve road handling, the performance package for both the M3 E46 and Z4M include a continuously height-adjustable G-Power coil-over suspension RS with nine selectable settings each for bound and rebound.
The M division sports cars ride on lightweight 20-inch alloy wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Sport tires (245/30 ZR 20 at the front and 285/25 ZR 20 at the back) that allow a top speed of more than 300km/h or 187mph.
Though not included in the basic package, G-Power also offers a sports rear muffler that produces a deeper and more sonorous tone.

Mercedes E63 AMG by VATH
German tuner Väth has a package for the Mercedes E 63 AMG Wagon W211. They call it the V63 RS. And if you buy it, do be prepared to need the better part of an afternoon just to tell anyone who asks what the name of the car is - a Väth V63 RS Mercedes E 63 AMG Wagon W211. Got that?
The Hoesbach-based tuner does its thing to take the E 63's horsepower rating from 514 to 580 and raise torque to a more than ample 770 Nm. That includes, along with a few engine management tricks, a new sports exhaust system with new manifolds, catalytic converter and a stainless steel muffler.
The tuning package also includes a suspension lowering of 35 mm, 390 mm brake disks, a 6-piston fixed caliper system for the front axle and 20-inch alloy wheels with 245 tires at the front and 285's at the back. A carbon fiber front lip and rear diffuser also help provide additional aerodynamic downforce on the E63 AMG.
Interior finish also features extensive use of carbon paneling as well as a fitting Alcantara lining.
In Germany, the Mercedes wagon is called the T-model. A fun fact to know, yes. Sort of brings to mind the Model-T, which Henry Ford famously said was available in any color the customer wanted as long as it was black. And this ultra-modern T-model certainly looks good in black.

Porsche Cayenne V6 Diesel by Techart
Following its debut at the Geneva Salon earlier this year, Porsche tuning specialist Techart has released new details on its souped-up Cayenne V6 Diesel. The German company's comprehensive tuning program for Stuttgart's first-ever production diesel model covers everything from engine and chassis conversions to interior and aerodynamic styling upgrades with buyers being able to buy Techart's Cayenne as new or add the kit to existing vehicles.
Beginning with the engine, Techart's power kit boosts the output of the Cayenne's 3.0-litre diesel from 240HP to 290HP while peak torque rises from 550Nm to 630Nm (465 lb-ft) at 2,200 rpm, with more than 500Nm being available from around 1,100 rpm to beyond 4,000 rpm.
The tuner claims that while 0 to 60mph sprint time drops from 8.3 seconds to 7.7 seconds, CO2 emissions and fuel consumption on the combined cycle remain unchanged at 244g/km and 30.4mpg UK (9.3lt/100 km or 25.3mpg US) respectively.

BMW M3 Coupe E92 by IND
Not really fans of extreme mods here at Carscoop preferring a more mature approach when it comes to tuning. That's why we like IND's latest take on the BMW M3 Coupe with the Dakar Yellow project. The subtly modded M3 comes with selected black accessories that includes 18-inch HRE alloy wheels shod in 275/35 R18 Nitto rubber all around and a Vorsteiner front lip spoiler and rear diffuser, which seem to work pretty well with the Dakar Yellow paint job.
Our only objection in terms of styling concerns the smoked tail lights but overall, the E92 looks the part and stands out without being obnoxious. IND's M3 finished project car also features a KW suspension kit and custom made Brembo brakes.

VW Bora by JMS
JMS presents new tuning parts for the VW Bora and refreshes the compact Volkswagen Sedan. For the production JMS uses original zender tools, which JMS bought last year, when Zender closed their street tuning department.
With the new JMS stylingkit the cars seems to be some years younger and looks like a New Generation edition car of Volkswagen itself.
The new Racelook front bumper (359 Euro) with three big cutouts gives to the Bora much more prestige for overtaken then the serial dependant ever had. The customer can choose the type of vents to be used, from black (24,90 Euro) to silver (19,90 Euro) and also with or without opening for fog lights.
If the customer decides to install fog lights, JMS offers the Micro-DE-fog lights from Hella (89 Euro/pair).
A other highlight is the JMS front hood including bad look and some openings for more racing performance, but this part is only a sample and actually there is no production in motion.

SLK55 AMG by Rex Accelero
The tuners at Rex Accelero came up with this widebody kit when attempting to answer the question of what an SLK 55 AMG Black Series modeled after the SL 65 AMG Black Series could look like. They came up with this look which was done by moving out the front and rear fenders by about 2.5 inches. Doing this allowed for the aerodynamic parts to be placed in such a way as to give the car room to be used as a track day device.
A carbon fiber lip plus a rear diffuser will be installed in the final production models. Minimum weight and strength will be ensured by using a vacuum-bag construction. Thus a 50:50 weight distribution can be achieved. Some aspects are still being tweaked ahead of the opening of the pre-order book in September.
This prototype also has oversized tyres, H&R springs, and a standard engine. Although not the 400hp unit from the limited SLK 55 AMG Black Series, it is the same 5.4-litre V8 worth 367hp (270kW) but the California-based tuner has plans to introduce it to a supercharger and make it go beyond 500hp (368kW). Such a thing is possible; the legendary E 55 AMG had the exact same engine, also with a supercharger and it made 476hp (350kW).

Audi A5 by Senner
If there's one thing that Audi A5 owners shouldn't be complaining about, is the lack of variety in tuning proposals. It's got to the point where tuners like Senner are introducing one package after the other. The German firm's latest offerings include a new styling package with various options for both the interior and exterior that can be combined with a kit for the 3.0-liter TDI diesel engine that lifts output to 300HP and 600Nm for a top speed of 280km/h or 174mph.
Senner Tuning's aerodynamic package consists of a carbon fiber front spoiler apron, carbon-fiber mirror housings, a rear spoiler and spoiler lip, and a carbon fiber rear bumper.
Other available mods include a Bilstein B16 PSS10 coilover suspension which is fully adjustable with individual height adjustment and a new stainless steel exhaust system with 4 tailpipes plus a set of 21-inch Evo DS Carlsson alloy wheels.
