Their extensive program gives the SLK the finishing touch for perfection Piecha Design enhances the already very sportive appearance of the aerodynamics package with an additional front spoiler lip (435 Euros including VAT), flaps at the back (185 Euros) and an improved rear diffuser (485 Euros). The new front lip is custom-made and perfectly fitted and glued to the side spoiler. The design of the Mercedes-Benz SLK tuning by Piecha emphasizes the sportive silhouette and the striking front. Fitting the rear spoiler lip which can be simply glued and adding the rear diffuser is nearly as simple. The latter is placed into the surrounding bead and also glued. There are suitable diffusers for AMG styling exclusively for four-pipe systems or for the serial rear skirts with two or four pipes. The diffuser by Piecha Design fits on both exhaust versions, only the serially fitted rear apron has to be modified for four-pipe systems. An automotive dream comes true: The special model GLK V8, which celebrates its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show 2009, adds fascinating eight-cylinder power from BRABUS to the GLK. BRABUS, recognized as an automobile manufacturer by the German Federal Vehicle Registration Agency (Kraftfahrtbundesamt), implants the eight-cylinder four-valve engine from the S 500 into the confines of the GLK body. As part of the BRABUS power treatment the displacement of the engine is increased to 6.1 liters, after which it puts out 462 hp (456 bhp) / 340 kW and propels the exclusive five-door to a new top speed of 275 km/h (172 mph). The BRABUS GLK V8 starts at 198,200 Euros MSRP. The implantation of the V8 engine into the body of the GLK required the know-how the BRABUS development department gathered in the design of many ultra-fast high-performance sedans such as the BRABUS BULLIT that reaches a top speed of more than 360 km/h (225 mph).  TechArt is again planning to shock the Geneva Auto Show audience with its models. This time, the tuning firm is planning to unveil its Cayenne Turbo S-based Magnum model featuring both engine performance upgrades and exterior plus interior modifications. As you can see in the adjacent pictures, the car looks pretty appealing, with the large air intakes and the chromed elements among the first things that catch the eye.  For some reason, Porsche tuner TechArt has decided to release an exclusive aerokit for the recently introduced Cayenne Diesel that's powered by an Audi-derived, 240-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 TDI. Though less extreme than the firm's other tuning packages, the accessorized Cayenne Diesel definitely stands out. TechaArt's aero kit includes a front spoiler with additional lights, side skirts, roof spoiler, a rear apron with an integrated diffuser and headlight / tail light trims.  The Audi AS5-R isn’t a complete new one, but a reviewed version of the AS5. ABT will bring this R-variant to the Geneva Auto Salon next week. When reading ‘R’ we directly think about a fast powerfull beast, but that’s only half true. The AS5-R is powerfull with it’s 510 bhp but it does ‘only’ 183 mph (292 kmh). As you might expect that’s not without reason. The ABT engineers thought about our environment and managed to create CO2 emission of only 0,56 g/km. That is 25 g. under the standard Audi S5 level.
