We’ve see a number of iterations of this race-spec Lamborghini Gallardo in the past courtesy of Reiter Engineering. On the heels of what amounted to as a hugely successful year for the 2011 Gallardo LP600+ GT3, Reiter is back with fresh improvements for the 2012 model that seeks to improve the car’s endurance capabilities, on top of its already dominating racing credentials.

For the 2012 model, Hans Reiter is looking into expanding the race car’s abilities into a full-fledged 24-hour racer. "We’ve already proved that the Gallardo is a safe and fast car in sprint format races," he said.

"Now we want to be successful at long distance races too. Our aim is, to have a reliable 24-hour race car, which is able to win."

Putting all their racing experience and know-how to good use, Reiter fitted the LP600+ GT3 with a bevy of new aerodynamic and performance parts, including a new 2012 Holinger gearbox that’s not only lighter in weight, but also possesses a more direct and precise shifting process. Reiter also added a bigger spliter and double dive plates at the front, providing more downforce for the car while suspension brackets, spring pairings and an AP Racing brake system are all expected to be added despite still being in the testing and development phase.[...]
